Teriyaki Flank Steak

This is so simple I’m not even sure it’s considered a recipe.  I’m not sure who came up with this first my Dad or my Grandma, but I remember having it at her house the first time I got a taste for it, but she had my Dad cook it.  This is honestly one of my favorite ways to eat meat, and I think it all has to do with the cut.

  • Flank Steak
  • Teriyaki Sauce

  1. Marinate the flank steak in a enough teriyaki sauce to cover overnight or at least all day.
  2. Either cook on the grill over medium-high heat or under the broiler.  About 6-8 minutes a side until just barely browning on top, then flip.  I like it come out a little pink in the middle.
  3. Let rest about 10 minutes, then cut against the grain into strips and serve.
